Adidas Japan Jersey to Celebrate 100th Anniversary

Adidas and the Japan Football Association (JFA) celebrate the 100th anniversary of the association (September 10, 1921) with a spectacular special-edition Adidas Japan jersey. It's inspired by the first national XI in 1930 and from the uniform worn in the 1936 Olympics in Berlin. 

The new Japan 100th Anniversary kit takes inspiration from the one worn by the first national selection in 1930 as well as from the uniform from the 1936 Olympics in Berlin when they reached the Last 8 for the first time.

JAPAN HOME JERSEY FOR 100TH ANNIVERSARY

This is the Japan home jersey, designed to celebrate its 100th Anniversary. It was made by Adidas. As a nod to the occasion, only 2,021 shirts were set to be produced. The Japan jersey features a much lighter blue than the trademark Samurai Blue, indigo-influenced shade usually used, and the shirts feature a gold '100 – 1921—2021' graphic in the neck. White details stand out in the form of the classic collar and cuffs, while the Japanese flag sits on the left of the chest. subtle tonal branding completes the look. 

A big Japan flag sits on the left chest of the Adidas Japan Centenary jersey, with a tonal Adidas logo applied on the other side.
